If you would like to enroll in a Car Racing School and learn how to successfully drive and operate a high speed race car at speeds in excess of 100mph, you will need to know how to go about finding a course and signing up. So, here are a few tips to help you enroll in a Car Racing School.
Visit Racing Schools and search for the type of racing school you wish to attend. Racing Schools has links to hundreds of racing schools around the country. They also have information, ratings and reviews on most of the schools as well.
Before you can enroll in a car racing school, you will need to make sure that you have all of the required information on hand. Gather information about your driver’s license, car insurance, health insurance and other personal information that may be required.
Call your car insurance agent and ask if your policy will cover you while you are learning to drive a race car. All policies will not cover you. Make sure that you inform them you are learning to drive a race car and not practicing for a race. If your insurance company does not cover you, you will need to purchase coverage through the school. This could add another $200 – $300 per day for the course.
Visit the website of the school you want to attend and follow the links for registering for a course. Most schools offer courses from a couple of hours in length up to 3 or 4 days of instruction. Choose the course you want to enroll in. Also, choose a course date.
Use your credit card to pay for the course online or follow the instructions on how to pay for the course via other payment methods.
Once you have paid for the course, you should receive confirmation from the school within a day or two. Make sure to print out the confirmation email. Keep it for your records and take a copy of the confirmation with you when you attend the course.
