When it comes to pricing, auto transmission cars are more expensive. You know this. But you don’t know why. Manual transmissions are also known as gearboxes. The intricacy and sheer number of precision parts that make up an automatic transmission are what causes these transmissions and cars equipped with them to be so much more expensive than manual transmissions.
