The most popular Japanese car makers are: Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru. Of these car manufacturers, Toyota has been a popular selling car maker since 1953. Three of Toyota’s models have sold 51 million (combined) cars. The models are the Corolla, the Camry, and the Land Cruiser. Honda’s best selling cars are the Civic and the Accord, and they account for 24.5 million sales since 1972.
