The Acura RL AWD has a traction system called super handling. This is unique in the fact that it is a full time all-wheel drive system. The fully automatic traction and handling system allows torque to be distributed between the rear and front ends of the car continuously. This distributes the torque between 70% to the front and 30% to the rear, and back to 30% in the front and 70% in the rear. This handling system has 100% of the rear power distributed to the outer wheel when turning. This has an effect much like rowing a boat, and applying additional power to one oar in order to turn the boat.
