The VW Passat warranty, as provided by the manufacturer, is a limited warranty that covers basic problems with the vehicle for 4 years/50,000 miles (whichever comes first). This is can be considered a bumper-to-bumper warranty because it covers the complete vehicle (mechanical and electrical), tires, and towing to the nearest Volkswagen Passat dealership. The factory warranty also covers corrosion due to manufacturing defect, and a 24-hour roadside assistance program provided by Road America. Repairs are made at no cost to the original owner during the warranty period. Wear and tear adjustments will be made for only the initial 12 months/12,000 miles (whichever comes first).
