Other than being an eBay member, there are no other requirements to sell on eBay Motors. This requirement can be easily met, as registration is free and simple. However, eBay does recommend checking with state laws to see if there are any requirements when selling a car in that state. For example, does it have to be taxed? eBay recommends getting all your car details together, including vehicle identification number, and running a vehicle history report if you are not the owner from the start. Although it is not a requirement, several photos should be taken of the car to entice buyers. Including photos of the exterior, interior, engine and most importantly, any damage to the vehicle, like scratches.
