Several consumer sites that provide valuable information offer vehicle consumer reports. The sites range from the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration that publish crash and mileage data, to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), that also publish crash and car theft data. There’s also the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) that offers consumer information. Then, there’s the old standby Consumer Reports, in both its print and online versions. You can also find valuable consumer information from Consumer Guide and its online site, as well as from the American Automobile Association, whose buying program helps you to find as much information as possible on the models you are interested in.
