One of the best things about the Honda standard warranty is that it does not automatically expire or become voided if the car transfers ownership during the time in which the warranty is valid. If you purchase a used Honda that is less than 3 years old and has fewer than 36,000 miles on it, the warranty will still be valid from the original purchase time.
Honda Powertrain Warranty
One of the upgraded warranty plans for a Honda vehicle is the powertrain warranty guarantee. This warranty covers the powertrain of the vehicle, which consists of the engine, the transmission system and transmission computer and the drive axle that is crucial for steering. These components are among the most important for the proper functioning of your Honda. If anything should happen to them, the repair costs are often high due to the sensitive nature of each of these components. A powertrain warranty is good for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
