Convertible top cables are located in the front and rear of a convertible top. They are generally run through their own pockets, which run the length of the top and attach to the front and rear. Technically, these are called side cables. The other important cable is the rear attachment cable that also runs in its own special pocket, and which holds the rear of the convertible top to the frame. Little known, these cables make all the difference in the world, as they help to make sure that any extra insulation is encapsulated and remains held in place correctly.
