Auto body repair equiment can get expensive. Dent repair tools can be purchased as a set and can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000. You will need a drill with a small drill bit, about 1/8″ thick. You will also need a dent pulling tool, a hammer, a grit disk to grind the paint down, and a body filler. Primer and paint may also be needed, but most minor dents can be repaired with little or no paint needed. Dent repair tools can be purchased as a set and can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000.
