If your vehicle has been damaged and it is not something you can repair yourself, you will need to take it in for a car damage estimate. If the vehicle has sustained no damages to mechanical aspects, then the estimate should take 15 minutes to ½ an hour. Damages of this nature include scratches and dents that do not hamper performance in any way. Damages to the vehicle which hamper performance, such as any that would require a tow truck, will take longer. If your car needs to be towed in for a car damage estimate, expect the vehicle to be at the shop anywhere from 1 hour to 2 days.
