    To see if a car damage estimate is correct, ask either your insurance agent or adjuster to go over the paperwork you receive from the other party. Indeed, if your insurance company – in a no-fault state – is the one covering all of the expenses, it may be demanded of the other party to provide a complete damage estimate before your insurance company will pay a cent. In this way, you can check to see if the other car’s damage estimate is correct. If it seems a bit low, ask your insurance carrier to delay payment until the other party provides proof.
