    An excellent credit history is obtained when you have a record of always paying your debts on time or early. Your debt is compared to your ability to pay. In addition, the length of time you have had a good credit standing is considered. The credit history is an overall look at what types of credit you have had and for how long. The fact that you have never defaulted on a loan, had a check declined, or made any late payments. This will result in an A1 credit rating, which makes you an excellent risk. A free credit report is available to you once a year for your review. To ensure that no one has misused your credit and that all of your credit accounts are accurately documented.
