  • Can I Get Car Insurance Coverage with an Overseas Drivers License?

Although it may seem to be a hassle to get insurance coverage with an overseas drivers license, it is actually quite easy. You just have to know the proper steps. You should first get a Social Security Number and probably own a car. If you don’t have enough money to buy a car, you can get a loan, hence the Social Security Number. This is needed to acquire the loan. Insurance companies usually accept international driver’s licenses anyway, so you do not have to worry. Just make sure that you have everything they ask for such as valid ID’s, proof of income, etc. Getting insurance coverage is not a problem when you have an overseas driver’s license.
