Camber plates allow the user to adjust caster and camber without having to bring the vehicle to an alignment shop. They are installed and used so that the driver can make adjustments to suit the road conditions they intend to drive on. Because the adjustments are made by simply rotating the adjusting bolt, camber can be changed and reset at any time. As the vehicle’s height is lowered, the camber becomes more negative. A negative camber provides better cornering grip and steering control, so the driver can make adjustments to enhance steering control when needed.
