Basing this response on consumer reviews, a reliable car audio control unit is the Pioneer DEH 50UB, which has received an average of five stars on a review website called Dooyoo, with the lowest rating coming in at four stars. It ranks highly on appearance, reliability, gains marks for being compatible with mp3 players (including iPods), and you are able to store six AM and FM channels. Whether you are listening to the radio or your iPod, you will get high Pioneer sound quality. However, it does lose marks for the small buttons. If you have larger fingers, then you might have difficulty pressing the buttons. Especially when driving.
