    A high performance muffler system has to be able to diminish the noise from the combustion cycle produced in the combustion chambers of your engine, and still allow an adequate volume of these exhaust gases to flow, as to ensure that your car is able to produce the amount of power that you’re wanting. Most muffler systems, whether original equipment or aftermarket performance systems, are made with stainless steel tubing. This is because the exhaust system in your car is the most susceptible to rust. The extreme temperatures the system has to endure, plus the proximity to the ground, mandate the use of stainless steel throughout.
