Car radio audio is something that can provide you with several different options. It is up to you to try to figure out which one is going to work better. Analog has been around a lot longer than digital. Digital is something that is considered to be more advanced than analog. There are a lot of reasons why analog is something that is becoming a thing of the past.

Digital

With digital, you will be able to have HD radio players. This is something that is becoming very popular. People are beginning to prefer the clearer sound of digital than what you would get with an analog radio. In order to broadcast HD radio, digital is needed. 

Analog

There are people that still like analog. Many people say that they cannot hear the difference. It can be more expensive to have digital put into a vehicle that does not already have it. This is something that people do not wish to spend the extra money on. You will find that getting a digital radio installed is something that could end up costing you some money you may not want to spend. 

Overview

Basically, it all comes down to what you are willing to pay for. If you prefer to have a clear sound that is not going to have problems with interference, then digital is the way to go. However, if you do not wish to pay the extra money and do not mind a less than clear sound, then you should stick with analog.
