A short ram intake system can be installed on almost any type of engine. However certain systems are built for different types of engines, so check the installation instructions to make sure your vehicle is listed. Ask an employee at your local auto parts for the short ram system that is designed for your engine and transmission. Look for a system that comes as a complete bolt-on system, these are easiest to install. It is a good idea to check with a local mechanic or auto parts store to make sure a short ram system is legal in your particular town or city. They sometimes make an engine loud enough that it can violate noise ordinances.
