    Yes, they have an alarm fuse. The majority of Autopage alarms have two 20amp fuses in them. These fuses must be removed prior to installation when the alarm is attached to the power leads in the vehicle. It is best to have these alarms installed by a professional but if you choose to do it yourself, carefully follow the instructions. The type and location of these fuses will vary on the alarm system so check your owners manual for the specifics of your alarm. These fuses prevent the alarm from being damaged due to electrical malfunctions in the car. These alarms typically run through the fuse box of the car as well.
