Once you have submitted the parameters it displays the results and assigns a star rating to each category. These reports are easy to read and provide alot of useful information.

Safercar.gov is not the only website that provides vehicle safety ratings but it probably the most comprehensive. Autos.msn.com provides safety information using not only the NHTSA's data but also that of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. IIHS.org which is the website for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety provides safety reports that are searchable by make and model.
