When visiting an automatic car wash system, you are usually offered two to three choices or levels of service. The cheapest and most basic wash is normally a straightforward wash and rinse. In some cases the car is also dried by a blower. The basic wash usually includes just one soak, one suds and one rinse. When you move up to the next level your car will normally be soaked twice, suds twice and rinsed twice. This level normally includes drying as well. There are other options that are sometimes included as well: an under-body wash, and possibly a tire and rims rinse. The top level usually includes all of the services of the middle level as well as a coating of wax that is applied by sprayer.
