Is Using a Foam Car Wash More Eco Friendly?

Going to a foam car wash, or any commercial car wash for that matter, is more eco friendly. Commercial car washes are required by law to drain their waste-water directly to a water treatment facility. This means that the water will not end up in the drinking supply or contaminating local rivers. When you wash your car at home, there is no way of telling where the water, soap and other chemicals will end up. It is possible they will end up in the local rivers and streams, which can cause problems for both plants and animals. When you use a commercial car wash, this problem is addressed at the facility.
