Is a TATA Car Right For You?

Drivers who pay close attention to new worldwide motor trends may be aware of the new TATA car called the Nano.

Recently, United States news media have reported that the TATA motor company is planning to offer the TATA Nano stateside. The Nano is advertised as being the world's cheapest car, costing under $2500. To some, who feel like they spend too much of their take-home pay on their vehicles, this may seem like a real lifesaver.

When looking at whether a TATA car is a good fit for your household, consider the following. First, will you need to transport more than two people on a regular basis? If so, the TATA Nano, essentially a sub-compact car, will probably not be roomy enough.

Drivers also need to consider how much of their drive time will be on highways, where small car trends have not really made a dent in the usual makeup of traffic. Smaller cars do have an increased risk when traveling on limited access highways, and this is something to keep in mind when looking at smaller vehicles.

However, consumers with an eye for a bargain may find that, when the TATA Motor Company is able to offer the Nano to a stateside audience, this option will help them to manage their on-the-road finances and provide a really good car value.
