If you’re fully restoring a car, having an accurate vehicle wiring diagram will come in very handy to help you tell where everything is and how it all connects.  Chiltons Publications makes labor and repair manuals for the professional mechanic that have very detailed wiring diagrams. Most of the auto repair guides put out by Chiltons for the amateur mechanic will have diagrams for certain systems, while other will have diagrams for all of the car’s electrical systems. Haynes Repair Guides will also have some detailed drawing of your car’s electrical system.  The Autozone website has wiring diagrams broken down by where the wires are located.
